Frequently asked questions
Is the game free?
Yes. There are no in-app purchases, subscriptions or ads.
Does it need an internet connection?
No. Dreadspire: Tower Wars plays completely offline and never connects to the internet. There is no account or sign-in.
Who am I playing against?
A computer opponent that plays by your rules: same crystals, same towers, same sends, and no peeking at your economy. Choose from five difficulties: Normal, Hard, Expert, Master and Nightmare.
Is Nightmare fair?
Nightmare is clearly labeled and gives the computer an income bonus. All other difficulties are pure strategy: higher levels read your maze, prepare counters and strike when you are weakest, but never cheat.
How do I build a maze?
Drag a tower from the bottom bar onto your field. Towers block movement, so creatures walk around them. Make the path long and winding, but you can never close it completely. You can sell and rebuild at any moment. A guided first match walks you through building, sending, payday and upgrades.
What is the difference between Classic and Quick?
Classic is a full war that ends in Sudden Death after 25 minutes. Quick is a shorter match where a rising Siege makes every creature tougher by the minute.
Where is my progress saved? Can I move it to a new phone?
Your settings, profile and any saved match recordings are stored only on your device. There is no cloud save, so progress does not move between devices, and deleting the game deletes it.
How do I join the beta?
Email justdev.ee@gmail.com with the email address of your Apple ID and we will send you a TestFlight invite. You need an iPhone and Apple's free TestFlight app.
Can I play with friends?
Today the game is a duel against the computer. If that ever changes, it will be announced on this site.
Does the game collect my data?
